What lovely art deco wedding we have to share with you today, coming to us via Pepper Nix Photography! Cortney and Aaron were married in Salt Lake City, Utah, and honestly some of these images are so perfect, it looks like a styled shoot…
But it’s not! This is an actual (beautiful) bride and her actual (handsome) groom and the actual (amazing) details of their art deco inspired wedding.
What a beautiful delight! The dress, a gorgeous 1920s style Jenny Packham gown, was the inspiration point for all the lovely vintage details throughout. The bride said, “Once that was chosen, the rest fell into place….I love metallics and wanted simple elegance to enhance the day.”
This lovely inspiration shoot features a styled art deco wedding in Kansas City, Missouri at a fabulous vintage venue, The Philips Hotel….
Submitted by Michelle Marie Photographie, this shoot has it all: amazing deco details, gorgeous gowns, handsome groom’s wear, and a truly striking handmade deco headpiece.
We didn’t even realize it, but we’ve got back-to-back NorCal weddings this week with today’s beautiful 1920s style San Francisco wedding, courtesy of photographer Chrissy Lynn.
That dress! That hair! That handsome couple! Add together the great 1920s style details, the gorgeous church and beautiful venue (Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park) and you’ve got one seriously lovely day…

There’s so many great travel-related visuals tied to the 1920s and art deco era (we’ve featured some cool ones before, like these vintage travel poster save the dates) and this styled shoot incorporates several uber-pretty vintage travel elements, from maps and keys to cars. Up today, a beautiful Chicago art deco wedding shoot from Spark + Tumble Photography. One of my favorite American cities, Chicago boasts incredible architecture around every corner, including the gorgeous buildings featured in this styled 1920s wedding shoot: the Madonna della Strada Chapel at Loyola University and The Powhatan Apartments.
The details are amazing, the interiors are perfection and the moody spring weather in the outdoor shots only adds to the beauty. I absolutely adore them! Take a look! (click on images to see larger sizes.)
