Today we have another gorgeous gold and silver wedding cake sent to us by Sugar Realm, and we are as delighted as we were with their last creation. This incredible art nouveau cake features some gorgeous color and design elements, and just look at the detail…
As you can see below, the cake was inspired by the beautiful vintage venue: the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, built in 1931, with deco and art nouveau touches throughout, especially in the “Hall of Mirrors” ballroom.
The design of the cake and invitations both pulled deco and art nouveau details from the venue itself.
Gorgeous! And as before, we can’t forget about the taste of the cake, right? Very important. Very, very, very important…. so what was the flavor? Oh, nothing… this was just a “Delicate Almond-Apricot Butter cake, made with the finest crumb, paired with tangy apricot mousseline, ginger-infused syrup and a touch of almond crunch.”
For today’s feature we’ve got Erin and Eric’s warm, elegant gold and navy 1920s style wedding, sent to us from Angel Project Photo. With a truly spectacular vintage venue (Hempstead House in New York), stunning florals, and beautiful, classic details throughout, this is an absolutely perfect 1920s style wedding: wonderful to browse and ideal for …
The Queen Mary was born first as a luxury ocean liner (her maiden voyage was in 1936), became a troop ship during World War II, and was a glamorous cruise ship for decades. In 1967 she was sold to the City of Long Beach, and has been open to the public off and on since …
Unsurprisingly, we see a lot of art deco invitation designs around these parts. And more often then not they’re just… OK. They hit all the “art deco” marks, they check off the checkboxes, but they’re just… nothing special. Which is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of how I feel about every invitation suite at Atelier Isabey, including …
Cheerful blues and yellows brighten up this wedding invitation set from Coco Paperie at Minted. The circles bring in a little bit of a 60s / Mad Men vibe, but the font is pure deco. A great combo! The invite is available all by its lonesome, or with matching RSVP cards, information leaflets and more. …
