It’s been a while since we checked back on the collection of vintage style wedding dresses at one of our favorite 1920s + 30s inspired online bridal retailers (the reliably swoon-worthy BHLDN) but we took a look over the weekend at some of their newer gowns and WOW. And yay! And wow.
First up, one of the loveliest we’ve seen yet from any of their collections, this is the Jacinda:
YES. This one is a BHLDN exclusive and probably our favorite of the newer gowns. The 1930s blouson look is already a classic, but this version is elevated by that carefully bejeweled illusion neckline, and the romantic covered buttons up the back. Absolutely gorgeous.
Equally lovely is the spare and elegant Alice gown. No frills, no fussiness, just clean lines and pure glamour.

Also lacy, also feminine, also classic is the April gown. With a more fitted silhouette, but a lovely vintage flair, this is another gown that looks absolutely smashing with a sash:
Finally we’d like to highlight the Fantasia gown. We are, admittedly, partial to that flowing Grecian look (as were the ladies of the 1920s!) and this gown is a dreamy embodiment of that classic style:

Oh la la! Take a look at these lovelies: vintage inspired wedding gowns from designer Elizabeth Fillmore. First up, the perfectly-named “Starlet” dress. It feels a little 20s (the art deco crisscross of the bodice), a bit 30s (the draped silk charmeuse and and swoopy train) and a smidge 40s (hello, film noir glamour!) and …
Good morning! (or afternoon, or evening, depending on your placement on the globe). Today we’ve got a lovely selection of art deco wedding gowns by Peter Langner to show you. It’s impossible to understand why on Earth we haven’t done a post featuring one of our favorite art deco-inspired wedding dress designers, Alice Temperley and Temperley London, but it seems that we have not. But it’s always wow all around when we spot an art deco Temperley London gown… (image via Brides.com) So how could …
