Today we’re going to talk about one of our favorite looks: the classic elegance of vintage style long sleeve wedding gowns. One of the best things about planning a wedding in modern times: the choices. So many choices! OK, so this can also be an overwhelming aspect of the planning process, and can at times seem like it may break you…
But! But: being able to pick your style, your vows, your venue, and the aesthetic of your wedding is something some modern brides might almost take for granted. Variations within, of course, but the selection in a bridal shop in 1985 was certainly a lot more uniform than the selection today.
Which brings us to today’s collection of some of our favorite vintage style long sleeve wedding gowns (alright, some elegant 3/4 sleeve wedding dresses as well). Choices! No strapless, sweetheart necklines here: these wedding gowns are classic, lovely, and besleeved. We’ve included a few from earlier collections, as well as some recent designs currently available online. Take a look!
