Up today, a beautiful Lake Placid elopement! Now, we’ve been posting a lot of elopements this year, for semi-obvious reasons, and we’ve been so thrilled to see the creative beauty of all these weddings – socially distanced, tiny/intimate family only, or– as in this case– just the bride and groom, two close friends, and a stunning natural backdrop. (and they live-streamed to friends and family, which is brilliant and perfect!)
[Early this summer], Bailey and Jaime decided to escape Brooklyn for a few days and have a Lake Placid Lodge elopement!
They brought their two close friends, streamed live to family, face-timed parents before the ceremony and had a very intimate, yet inclusive of family, celebration! It was a beautiful day in a beautiful place and such a wonderful way to celebrate a relationship becoming a marriage!
Cheers to the newlyweds, cheers to eloping with just your BFF’s and cheers to a summer escape in the mountains to celebrate getting married!

There’s something undeniably romantic about winter weddings. One of the best weddings I’ve ever been to was a winter wedding in New York City, …
