It’s been a while since we checked back on the collection of vintage style wedding dresses at one of our favorite 1920s + 30s inspired online bridal retailers (the reliably swoon-worthy BHLDN) but we took a look over the weekend at some of their newer gowns and WOW. And yay! And wow.

Love the architectural look of this Anne Barge gown, pictured here in a 2009 ad campaign. The chevron on the bodice really gives it a classic deco feel, like a dress inspired by the Chrysler Building (plus, bonus: pockets!).
One of our favorite recent bridal trends has been the rise of short sleeve wedding dresses in collections from many of our favorite designers and indie shops. When you’re looking at vintage inspired gowns, until recently your choices were likely going to be limited to a smaller range of sleeve choices. But lately we’re seeing …
If you’re planning a vintage theme wedding (an art deco wedding, a 1920s wedding, a 1930s wedding… basically any beautiful vintage era), then you probably already know about BHLDN, the vintage wedding focused offshoot of Anthropologie. If somehow you’re not already familiar, one glance at their lookbook should be enough to win you over…. They’ve …
