Up today we have this cool and moody winter wedding styled shoot, from Bolt Photography. With rich tones of maroon, gold and black:
And a spare and elegant setting:
This styled shoot has intriguing moody details throughout. But one of the MOST intriguing? We’ll let the photographer share the story:
This styled shoot went from fake wedding to real proposal. When Johnny (groom model) arrived with his girlfriend, Jenna (bride model), he flashed an engagement ring my way. While Jenna was in hair and make up he asked if it would be okay if he proposed. With a quiet shout I said, “Of Course!” We decided to wait until the end just in case Jenna cried. We had to save the make up. 🙂
The shoot went as planned. I told the couple this will be the last shot to warn Johnny that he was up next. Then all I had to do was say, “Johnny.” He got on one knee and asked Jenna to be his wife. At first Jenna thought it was just a pose I wanted them in until she saw the ring. Once she realized it was real, she laughed and said YES!
There were hugs and kisses and I may have teared up a little. They are gorgeous together and am so privileged to have been there for the proposal.
