Also sold, also many many dollars, also gorgeous. To be honest, it’s kinda hard to go wrong with a ruby, though. Passionate and elegant and almost always drop-dead gorgeous, especially in a vintage setting.
It’s glass, not ruby, but the art deco vintage setting is 100% authentic, and 100% fabulous. (plus it’s a bit more reasonably priced for the non-millionaires among us). Here’s another Etsy steal, this one a verneuil ruby in a lovely vintage setting, circa 1920s/30s:
