Today’s post is about art deco dresses (though not art deco wedding dresses: they get a separate category). These are just some gorgeous vintage looks we’ve come across that would be perfect for a 20s themed engagement party or art deco engagement shoot. And not just dresses, but a skirt and top too!
…this art deco silk flapper skirt by Alberta Ferretti. Um, YES PLEASE. It looks a bit like pleating in the photo, but no: per the description, it is in fact flapper fabulous “knotted fringing.” Add that gorgeous art deco crystal pattern at the top, and you’ve got the perfect roaring twenties look.

Just a quick post today, a sort of mish-mash of art deco bits and pieces I’ve found while poking around the net for content for our site. The theme? Blue! Now, I myself am quite a superstitious sort, so you’d better believe I had my “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue” …
Out and about recently I saw a girl with the most amazing art deco manicure, and I immediately realized: of course, NAILS needed to be a post! Can’t believe we haven’t done it already, though we’ve had some posts featuring 1920s Makeup… but check these out: If you’re planning your wedding, you’ve probably already thought …
