Well today we’re talking sapphire art deco rings, and honestly I could post pics of these all day. It’s been a while since we did a jewelry post, especially a “I will never have that….but I need to have that…but I can never have that… but I NEED THAT NOW” kinda jewelry post, so we’re here to fix that. Let’s get all covet-y and green with envy over whomever owns these gorgeous blue stones.
First up, this gem of a gem, and good GOD do I love this ring. It kinda made me feel almost sick to my stomach when I saw it at first? I loved it so much? That actually happened.
I’m a sucker for that simple rectangular cut, and I flat out adore this masculine ring, via Lang Antiques. Deep, gorgeous midnight blue sapphire, 2.50 carats and highlighted on each side with twinkling diamond ‘V’ shape shoulders with calibre sapphire triangle motifs and bottom accents.
Next is an unusual piece, it’s got an almost Streamline Moderne quality to it (maybe the bullet-esque shape of the stone?) and it’s weird and I love it.
It comes to us via 1stDibs, this gorgeous 12 carat sapphire art deco ring, and it’s strange and lovely, no? It would go perfectly with those earrings from our Something Blue post from a while back…
Finally we’ve got another 1stDibs find, this more classical sapphire art deco ring, original hand made filigree platinum and oh-so-lovely, I think we can all agree.
There really is something special about a sapphire. Gorgeous rings, all!
Today we’re going to spend some time with some of our favorites pieces of Art Deco pearl jewelry. Why? Why not! Also, though, because it is both a classic vintage gem ideal for brides, as well as the third June birthstone we’ll be featuring on the site (after previously discussing art deco moonstone jewelry as …
Today we’re going to feature nothing by Art Deco garnet jewelry, from antique pieces to gorgeous modern interpretations of classic designs. Let’s start with a bang, shall we? Like this 6 carat art deco garnet and opal ring:
We’ve got a tag on Deco Weddings called my preciousss, and it’s just for pieces like this: an incredible vintage 1920s aquamarine pendant, sparkling and glittering and glamouring its way into our hearts like… Um. WANT NOW PLEASE. GIVE. MINE. That’s a 25 carat emerald cut aquamarine (March’s birthstone!) in a dazzling platinum and diamond …
Updated for 2020, some gorgeous Art Deco moonstone jewelry to ooh and ahh over. Moonstone is one of three June birthstones (the other two June birthstone pics, Pearl and Alexandrite already got their own posts). Moonstone was a favorite of the Art Nouveau and ’20s eras. From GIA: According to Hindu mythology, moonstone is …
